Warm & inviting, this homespun textile orginates from the farms of Central & Eastern Europe. Used as flour and seed sacks, the fabrics markings indicate the farm to which the product within belonged. The linen was home grown, home retted, and hand woven, creating a fabric that is soft and supple with a pronounced durability. Our pillows, hand towels, table runners, napkins, envelopes, hanger covers, and aprons are a few of the beautiful byproducts from this remarkable textile. The tone, texture, and color of the fabric will vary, and are sold assorted based on the availabilty of the textile. The fabric can be machine washed on delicate cycle. |
